I used to worship and adore (pun intended) Corgan. Now I think he’s the biggest jackass. The more I see or read about him these days just disappoints me more and more.

But yeah, he’s responsible for this album which is in my Top 5 albums of all time. So he gets a pass for that. I can listen to this album front to back on repeat and not get sick of it. This is the best Corgan has ever done and will ever do.

There is no better Pumpkins album than Siamese Dream. If you own one album by them, THIS is the essential album to own.

I hate Billy Corgan but goddamn if this record doesn’t fucking rule. 

I was listening to this album yesterday.  Its obviously amazing.  What is scary to think about is that this post might actually be necessary.   This feels like intuitive knowledge to me, but this album 17 years old! Oh fuck, I am getting old!  How old are these girls on the cover, I recently read something about the naked kid on the cover of Nevermind.  Time to do some research, I love wikipedia.  

Okay - just did some wiki-research.  Check this out “Shortly after the Pumpkins reformed in 2007, Corgan posted a message to the band’s blog saying that they were “[l]ooking for girls from Siamese Dream album cover… As you all know, they were quite young when the photo was taken. They are not conjoined anymore, as far as we know.” The band’s intentions for the search were never made clear, and the twins have not yet been located”
